Dear Alan,

Re: Echoes of a Storm

I am writing to thank you for your recent submission of work and for your patience in awaiting our response. We would like to invite you to submit your full manuscript for further consideration for our new lists. We can accept this work as an attachment to an email, preferably as a Microsoft Word file. Alternatively, you can send it via post as a hard copy or on a storage device, such as a USB stick or CD. If you decide to post your manuscript, then return postage, in the usual way, would be appreciated.

It must be stressed that this is not a commitment to publish. We have to consider every book’s literary merit and commercial viability.

Whilst every care will be taken with this work at all stages, you will appreciate that we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage when in our possession. Please do ensure that you retain a copy of this work.

Kind regards,

A Full Manuscript request for’ Echoes of a Storm’

A Full Manuscript request for’ Echoes of a Storm’

As you know I have been sending ‘Echoes’ out to various publishing houses and guess what? I’ve had a full manuscript request from the second company I sent it to : )

Obviously, I am grinning from ear to ear : ) but under all that excitement I am telling myself to calm down as there is a long, long way to go and the chance of rejection is still very high.

However, for tonight only I am just going to enjoy the fact that I got a Full Manuscript request. Below is the email and for fairness sake I have blanked the company name.
