 Quick Description of Echoes of a Storm

‘Echoes of a Storm’ is the first book in the ‘Storm Series’, and sets the scene and tone for this powerful bittersweet trilogy.

 This dark, gritty, adult fantasy novel explores many themes such as, relationships, loss, power, prejudice and ultimately, the true ‘monster’ that lurks inside of us.

As you delve deeper into the book, you will come across heroes, villain, werewolves and witches, but not quite in the way you have met them before.

The cliff hanger at the end of ‘Echoes of a Storm’ sets up perfectly the start of ‘Scions of the Storm’ which continues this powerful trilogy.

Echoes of a Storm has now been downloaded just under 2’000 times around the world including USA, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Brazil, Canada and Australia.

Em…Something very strange – The follow up

Five days ago I place “Echoes of a Storm” on free promotion on Amazon  and within 12 hours, 182 copies had been downloaded. Hence my blog of “Em…Soemthing very strange etc” a few days ago

The promotion is now finished and the results are in:

USA = 385 Downloads

Italy = 1 Download

Japan = 1 Download

India = Zero Downloads

Canada = 5 Downloads

For a total of 682 downloads in 5 days across the world. I was in the top  8 (Got to No. 3 at one stage) of Dark Fantasy for the entire 5 days in the UK and in the top 15, in the USA.

I also sold 8 of my other books of the back of the promotion.

So what does it all mean?  Hopefully, my books will now start appearing more on the Amazon lists, the emails that they send out, and the recommendations they give people.

Unfortunately the savage truth of self publishing is this – You can write the greatest book in the world/ your Genre however if no one knows about it, no one will ever read it. Only through publicity can you reach the market you are after.

So a question for you. You have written your master piece, how are you going to make the world aware of it?
